Clinical Effect Comparative Analysis of Polymer Trioxide and Calcium Hydroxide in Treatment of Young Permanent Teeth with Pulpotomy
Objective To explore and compare effect of polymer trioxide and calcium hydroxide in treatment of young permanent teeth with pulpotomy. Methods Research period:from May 2021 to June 2022;research subjects:60 young permanent tooth pulp amputation patients in our hospital;Grouping methods:random number grouping method.Patients with calcium hydroxide as paste were defined as reference group, while those with trioxide polymer as paste as experimental group,30 cases in each group.Clinical effect and periodontal index was compared between two groups. Results Success rate of pulpotomy treatment in experimental group was better than control group at all stages of prognosis, the PLI,GI,and SBI indices were lower than control group, values were statistically significant between groups,P<0.05.Conclusion Polymer trioxide can achieve more significant clinical effect for young permanent teeth with pulpotomy than calcium hydroxide, can improve periodontal indicators effectively, which is worthy of application.
