Improvement Effect of Lung and Eliminating Phlegm Decoction Combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Based on Humanistic Care on Ventilation Function of Patients with Severe Pneumonia of Phlegm Heat Obstruction Type
Objective To explore effect of lung and eliminating phlegm decoction combined with humanistic care based on traditional Chinese medicine nursing on ventilation function indicators including vital capacity(VC),forced vital capacity(FVC),and maximum spontaneous minute ventilation(MVV)of patients with severe pneumonia(SP)caused by phlegm heat obstruction.Methods The paper chose 66 patients with phlegm heat obstructing lung type SP admitted to Respiratory and Critical Care Medical Ward of Gansu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2020 to February 2023 as study subjects,and divided them into two groups(33 each)with random number table method.All patients were treated with routine basic treatment,control group was treated with broad-spectrum antibacterial treatment combined with traditional Chinese medicine nursing for humanistic care,observation group with combined lung and eliminating phlegm decoction on the basis of control group.Medication continued for 14 days for two groups.Various observation indicators were compared between two groups.Results After 14 days of treatment,clinical total effective rate of observation group was higher than control group.After treatment,levels of VC,FVC,MVV,arterial oxygen saturation(SaO2),and arterial oxygen partial pressure(PaO2)in both groups increased,those of observation group were higher than control group.Conclusion Combination of lung and eliminating phlegm decoction and traditional Chinese medicine nursing based on humanistic care can effectively improve ventilation function of patients with phlegm heat obstruction lung type SP and promote recovery of lung function.
