Allergic rhinitis is a type Ⅰ allergic reaction mediated by IgE,characterized by nasal itching,sneezing,runny nose and nasal congestion,with recurrent symptoms.Western medicine believes allergic rhinitis is an immune system disease related to genetics and environment,and can be treated with oral medication or surgery.Traditional Chinese medicine believes the disease is mainly related to lung,spleen and kidney,and can be treated with acupuncture and moxibustion,traditional Chinese medicine and massage.The article analyzes treatment progress of allergic rhinitis from perspectives of traditional Chinese medicine theory and western medicine based on organizing relevant literature,to provide reference for prevention and treatment of allergic rhinitis.
