Evaluation Comparison of Two Bone Density Measurement and Analysis Methods for Detection Results of Lumbar Spine Bone Density
Objective To explore detection effect of two commonly used clinical bone density measurement and analysis methods for lumbar spine bone density. Methods The paper chose 60 healthy women aged 40-70 in our hospital from July 2021 to June 2022,examined with DXA and QCT respectively, observed and analyzed detection rates of osteoporosis and normal bone density. Results Detection rates of osteoporosis by DXA and QCT measurements were 35.00%and 36.67%respectively,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Detection rates of normal bone density were 31.67%and 36.67%respectively,with no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).Conclusion Two types of bone density measurement and analysis have high consistency and accuracy in detecting lumbar spine bone density. There is some certain difference in algorithms and measurement methods between two software, but both can provide reliable and accurate measurement results.
