Curative Effect and Toxic Side Effect Analysis of Simple Radiotherapy and Synchronous Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy for HIV Patients with Cervical Cancer
Objective To explore effect and toxic side effect of simple radiotherapy and synchronous radiotherapy and chemotherapy for HIV patients with cervical cancer. Methods The paper chose 62 HIV patients with cervical cancer in our hospital from January 2018 to December 2022,and divided them into two groups randomly.Control group was treated with simple radiotherapy, while observation group with synchronous radiotherapy and chemotherapy.Recent effect, toxicity, tumor markers, and immune function indicators were compared between two groups. Results Effective rate and clinical control rate of observation group was significantly higher than control group(P<0.05).Incidence of toxic side effect including nausea, vomiting, leukopenia, and thrombocytopenia in observation group was higher than control group, while incidence of renal function damage, radiation cystitis, and radiation enteritis between two groups was comparable(P>0.05).Levels of CEA,CA125,and SCC-Ag in observation group were lower than control group after treatment(P<0.05).After treatment, the CD3+,CD3+,CD4+,CD3+,CD8+,and NK cells in observation group were comparable to control group(P>0.05).Conclusion Synchronous radiotherapy and chemotherapy is effective for HIV patients with cervical cancer, can reduce tumor marker levels effectively, with little effect on immune function and higher incidence of gastrointestinal and bone marrow suppression toxic side effect, which is generally tolerable.
