Effect of Tooth Extraction Site Preservation Technology on Alveolar Bone Mass and Aesthetic Effect of Patients with Anterior Dental Implantation
Objective To observe effect of tooth extraction site preservation technology on alveolar bone mass and aesthetic effect of patients with anterior dental implantation. Methods The paper chose 72 patients with anterior dental implant surgery in stomatology department of our hospital from January 2018 to December 2022,and divided them into two groups randomly:control group and observation group.Control group was treated with routine tooth extraction and oral implantation surgery, while observation group with tooth extraction site preservation technology.Aesthetic effect and alveolar bone mass indicators were compared between two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in preoperative scores of alveolar aesthetics between two groups,(P>0.05).However,there was statistically significant difference in postoperative scores of alveolar aesthetics between two groups(P<0.05),observation group had higher postoperative scores than control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Before surgery, there was no statistically significant difference in height, density, and width of alveolar bone between two groups(P>0.05),but after surgery, alveolar bone mass indicators between two or more groups were higher than before surgery, indicating statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The height, density, and width of alveolar bone in observation group after surgery was significantly higher than control group(P<0.05),with significantly less decrease. Conclusion Extraction site preservation technology can achieve high application value for patients with anterior dental implants, can improve aesthetic effect of alveolar bone significantly, preserve height, density, and width of alveolar bone effectively, and promote disease recovery, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
