Effect of Traditional Chinese Medicine Differentiation in Treatment of Chronic Ulcerative Colitis
Objective The article compared symptom improvement and safety of patients treated with routine Western medicine and Western medicine combined with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation,explored and analyzed practical application effect of two treatment methods.Methods The paper chose 60 patients with chronic ulcerative colitis in our hospital from June 2020 to June 2021 as study samples,and divided them into two groups with lottery methods,control group and observation group,with 30 cases in each group.Corresponding treatment methods were routine Western medicine treatment and Western medicine combined with traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation.Curative effect was compared between two groups.Results Total effective rate of clinical treatment in observation group was higher,comparison between two groups showed P<0.05.Comparison of symptom scores between groups before treatment showed P>0.05.After treatment,scores of various traditional Chinese medicine syndromes in two groups decreased,with P<0.05.Observation group had lower scores,with P<0.05.Incidence of adverse events during treatment between two groups showed P>0.05.Conclusion Traditional Chinese medicine can achieve significant curative effect on chronic ulcerative colitis based on syndrome differentiation.
