Analysis of Cognitive Impairment of Combination of Urapidil and Routine Anesthesia for Patients with Mental Disorders during Non Convulsive Electroconvulsive Therapy
Objective To analyze impairment of cognitive function of combination of urapidil and routine anesthesia for patients with mental disorders during non convulsive electroconvulsive therapy. Methods The paper chose 50 patients with mental disorders in Wuxi City Mental Health Center from December 2021 to March 2023 as study subjects, and divided them into control group and observation group with random number table method, with 25 cases in each group.Control group was treated with non convulsive electroconvulsive therapy(MECT)under routine anesthesia, while observation group with combination of urapidil and MECT under routine anesthesia.Changes in heart rate(HR)and mean arterial pressure(MAP)were compared between two groups at different treatment time points.Curative effect and cognitive function before and after treatment was compared between two groups. Results After treatment, heart rate and mean arterial pressure of observation group was lower than control group at 5 minutes(T3)after MECT(P<0.05).Total effective rate of observation group was better than control group(P<0.05).The overall cognitive function of observation group was better than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Urapidil combined with routine anesthesia can effectively stabilize levels of HR and MAP and reduce cognitive impairment of patients during non convulsive electroconvulsive therapy.
