Axial Changes Analysis of Age-Related Cataracts After Phacoemulsification Surgery
Objective To analyze changes in eye axis of patients with age-related cataracts treated with phacoemulsification surgery. Methods The paper chose 180 age-related cataract patients treated with phacoemulsification surgery in Xishui Aier Ophthalmology Hospital from September 2020 to September 2021,and observed changes in eye axis of patients at different times after surgery. Results Eye axial length value decreased continuously with increase of postoperative time, there was significant difference between each time point and preoperative comparison(P<0.05).Intraocular pressure significantly increased on the first day after surgery, showing more significant difference than before surgery(P<0.05).The longer time after surgery, the lower pressure index.Indicators at each time point showed significant difference from before surgery(P<0.05).After surgery, naked eye vision improved from the first day after surgery, average water level at each time point was higher than before surgery, with significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Phacoemulsification surgery can shorten axial length of age-related cataracts patients gradually, lower intraocular pressure continuously, and improve visual acuity significantly.
