Survey and Study on Post Abortion Care Services for Psychological Health of Women with Induced Abortion
Objective To explore psychological effect of post abortion care(PAC)on patients with induced abortion,and evaluate optimized PAC service process.Methods The paper chose 400 patients with induced abortion in outpatient department of our hospital from January 2020 to January 2021 as research subjects,and divided them into PAC group and control group randomly.A questionnaire survey was carried out on understanding,importance,acquisition methods and effect of PAC on psychological status of two groups,anxiety and depression was evaluated with SAS and SDS scales.Results 73.5%of surveyed subjects had no or little understanding on PAC,79.0%believed that PAC was important for female reproductive health,and 83.5%believed PAC was important or very important for psychological state.More than 60.0%of women before abortion experienced anxiety symptoms,and about 60.0%experienced depression symptoms.Accepting PAC could significantly reduce anxiety or depression symptoms of surveyed subjects,difference between two groups was statistically significant(P<0.001).Conclusion PAC services can effectively alleviate anxiety and depression of women after induced abortion,ensure their psychological health,which have significant effect in clinical practice and is worthy of widespread promotion and application to further improve life quality of patients.
