Risk Factors and Prevention and Control Analysis of Postoperative Infection of Maxillofacial Fractures
Objective To explore risk factors for postoperative infection of maxillofacial fracture diseases and related preventive and control measures. Methods The paper reviewed and analyzed 95 patients with maxillofacial fractures in our hospital from April 2021 to August 2022,and divided them into no infection group and infection group based on clinical cases for analysis.Risk factors for postoperative infection and relevant preventive measures were discussed. Results Main factors for postoperative infections in both groups were related to ASA physical health status, severe fractures, and postoperative oral health,(χ2=6.434,4.458,4.311;P=0.011,0.035,0.038).Conclusion Analysis on causes of postoperative infections of patients with maxillofacial fractures shows, they are closely related to physical health status of ASA,severe fractures, and postoperative oral health. Therefore,it is necessary to take corresponding comprehensive treatment based on etiology to reduce and control incidence of infections effectively.
