Clinical Effect and Influence on Social Function of Schizophrenia of Paliperidone Extended-release Tablets Combined with Group Psychotherapy
Objective To investigate clinical curative effect and influence on social function of schizophrenia patients of paliperidone sustained-release tablets combined with group psychotherapy.Methods The paper chose 58 patients with schizophrenia,and divided them into observation group and control group randomly.Control group was treated with oral sustained-release paliperidone tablets,while observation group with group psychotherapy for treatment course of two months on the basis of drug treatment.After treatment,severity of mental illness was evaluated with Positive and Negative Symptom Scale(PANSS),and social function was evaluated with Personal and Social Function Scale(PSP).Changes in life quality were evaluated with GQOLI-74 survey questionnaireb between two groups.Results After treatment,positive scale,negative scale,and PANSS total scores of observation group decreased more significantly than control group,and difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Scores of PSP group were significantly higher than control group at the same period,difference was statistically significant.Comparative analysis of the GQOLI-74 scores showed,difference between two groups in three dimensions of physical function,psychological function and social function was not statistically significant.After 2 months of treatment,observation group scores in all dimensions were significantly higher,difference was statistically significant.Conclusion Combination of paliperidone sustained-release tablets and group psychotherapy can achieve better curative effect on schizophrenia than paliperidone sustained-release tablets only,can improve cognitive function,social function,medication compliance and other aspects of patients.
