Analysis of Early Intensive Insulin Therapy for Newly Diagnosed Type 2 Diabetes
Objective To investigate effect of early intensive insulin therapy for newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes. Methods The paper chose 100 patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes in our hospital from January 2021 to June 2023,and divided them into two groups randomly.Control group was treated with metformin, and observation group with early intensive insulin therapy.Blood glucose index, islet index, blood glucose reaching time and hypoglycemia was compared between two groups. Results After treatment,FBG,2hPG,and HbA1c levels in observation group were lower than control group(P<0.05).After treatment,FINS and HOMA-IR levels in observation group were lower than control group, while FCP and HOMA-β levels were higher than control group(P<0.05).Observation group had shorter time to reach blood glucose standard than control group(P<0.05),incidence of hypoglycemia was comparable to control group(P>0.05).Conclusion Early intensive insulin treatment can achieve significant effect on newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes, can enhance control of blood sugar, protect function of islets of langerhans, accelerate speed of blood sugar reaching standard, which has low incidence of hypoglycemia and high safety.
