Curative Effect Observation of Nasal Continuous Positive Airway Pressure(nCPAP)on Early Severe Pneumonia of Children
Objective To explore effect of nasal continuous positive airway pressure(nCPAP)in treatment of early severe pneumonia of children. Methods The paper chose 30 children with severe pneumonia in our hospital from March 2019 to December 2020 as control group, treated with routine nasal cannula oxygen therapy, and 30 children with severe pneumonia in our hospital from January 2021 to June 2023 as observation group, with early nCPAP treatment.Clinical effect, clinical signs,PCIS scores, and symptom relief time between two groups were compared. Results Effective rate of treatment in observation group was significantly higher than control group(P<0.05).After treatment, heart rate, respiratory rate, and PCIS scores of observation group were comparable to control group(P>0.05).Observation group had shorter disappearance time of dyspnea, lung moist rales, and recovery time of heart rate than control group(P<0.05).Conclusion nCPAP can achieve significant effect for early severe pneumonia in children, can accelerate recovery rate of respiratory rate and heart rate, stabilize vital signs, improve condition at early stage, which has positive clinical significance.
