Application Comparison of Cervical Water Sac Dilation Method and COOK Balloon Induced Labor for Late Stage Primipara
Objective To explore effect of cervical water sac dilation and COOK balloon induced labor for late stage primipara. Methods The paper chose 200 primipara at late pregnancy in the hospital from January 2022 to June 2023,and divided them into two groups randomly, with 100 cases in each group.group A was treated with induced labor of small dose of oxytocin combined with cervical balloon dilation, while group B with induced labor of small dose of oxytocin combined with COOK double balloon catheter.Effect of promoting cervical maturation was diagnosed based on the Bishop scores of cervix after 12 hours of treatment, curative effect was evaluated.Time for inducing uterine contractions to clinical stage, first stage of labor, total stage of labor, and adverse pregnancy outcomes were observed, effect and safety of two induction methods was compared. Results Vaginal delivery rate in group A was higher than group B,while cesarean section rate was lower than group B(P<0.05).Induction time of uterine contractions, first stage of labor, total stage of labor in group A was shorter than group B(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in 12 hour cervical Bishop scores, postpartum hemorrhage rate, intrauterine distress rate, and cervical laceration rate between two groups,(P>0.05).Conclusion COOK double balloon and cervical balloon dilation technique can effectively promote, increase vaginal delivery rate, improve adverse pregnancy outcomes, and ensure the safety of induced labor of late pregnancy primipara. The cervical single water sac dilatation method is more ideal in improving the cervical maturity, and the comfort degree is higher.
