Effect of Mind Mapping Combined with CBL Teaching on Self-Directed Ability,Assessment Scores, and Teaching Satisfaction degree Degree of New Nurses in Operating Room
Objective To explore effect of mind mapping combined with case-based learning(CBL)teaching on self-directed ability, assessment scores, and teaching satisfaction degree of new nurses in operating room. Methods The paper chose 112 new nurses in operating room of Deyang City People's Hospital from October 2021 to October 2022 as research subjects, and divided them into group A and B with random number table method, with 56 nurses in each group.group A was treated with routine teaching mode, while group B with combination of mind mapping and CBL teaching mode on the basis of group A.Self-directed ability(Self Rating Scale of Self directed Learning(SRSSDL)),assessment scores(theoretical and practical assessment scores),and teaching satisfaction degree degree was compared between two groups after intervention. Results After intervention, total scores and total scores of each dimension of self orientation ability in both groups were higher than before intervention, total scores and scores of each dimension of self orientation ability in group B were higher than group A(p<0.05).After intervention, theoretical and practical assessment scores in group A were lower than group B,(p<0.05).After intervention, teaching satisfaction degree degree of group B(96.43%)was higher than group A(82.14%)(p<0.05).Conclusion Combination of mind mapping and CBL teaching can improve self-directed ability, assessment results, and teaching satisfaction degree degree of new nurses in operating room effectively, which is worthy of reference.
