Value Comparison of Ultrasound Evaluation and Fine Needle Puncture in Pathological Diagnosis of Benign and Malignant Thyroid Nodules
Objective To compare value of ultrasound evaluation and fine needle puncture in pathological diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules. Methods The paper chose 314 patients with thyroid nodules in our hospital from January 2022 to May 2023 as study subjects, and evaluated results of ultrasound evaluation and fine needle puncture pathological diagnosis for thyroid nodules. Results Under ultrasound guidance, fine needle biopsy results showed 86 cases of malignancy,197 cases of benign, and 31 cases of being unclear, which were basically consistent with surgical and pathological results(P>0.05).Accuracy of ultrasound-guided puncture was 99.33%.Conclusion Ultrasound-guided needle puncture can accurately and safely determine nature of the nodules in diagnosis of thyroid nodules, which is worthy of promotion in clinical practice.
