Application Value Analysis of Dual Phase Enhanced Spiral CT in Diagnosis of Parotid Gland Occupying Lesions
Objective To explore effect and value of dual phase enhanced spiral CT in clinical diagnosis of parotid gland occupying lesions.Methods The paper chose 60 patients with parotid gland space occupying lesions in our hospital from April 2019 to June 2022.Before surgery,patients were diagnosed with 256 slice spiral CT plain scan and biphasic enhanced scan.Pathological results and diagnostic effect of patients were analyzed with"gold standard"of pathological diagnosis results.Imaging data of benign and malignant groups were compared,characteristics of parotid gland occupying lesions were observed and analyzed.Results Postoperative pathological examination confirmed 27 malignant tumors(45%)and 33 benign tumors(55%)respectively among 60 cases with parotid gland occupying lesions.Dual phase enhanced spiral CT scanning confirmed 21 cases(35%)malignant lesions and 39 cases(65%)benign lesions among 60 cases with parotid gland space occupying lesions,with specificity of 90.24%(37/41),sensitivity of 89.47%(17/19),accuracy of 90.00%(54/60),and consistency of 0.762.Imaging data of benign and malignant groups showed significant difference in lesion morphology and boundaries,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Adenoma had the highest CT value on plain scan,and pleomorphic adenoma had the lowest CT value on plain scan,with significant statistical difference compared with other groups(P<0.05).During dual phase enhanced spiral CT scan,arterial phase enhancement of adenolymphoma was the highest,difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Enhancement degree of parotid gland tumors varied among different pathological types during portal phase,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Observation of parotid gland occupying lesions revealed dual phase enhanced spiral CT scanning could accurately diagnose nature of parotid gland occupying lesions,provide basis for disease diagnosis.Conclusion CT technology with dual phase enhanced scanning can achieve high accuracy in diagnosing parotid gland occupying lesions,diagnose lesion boundaries and morphology accurately,with clinical diagnostic and application value,which is worthy of great promotion.
