Improvement Evaluation of Blood Sugar Level of Obese Type 2 Diabetes Patients Treated with Modified Poria,Bighead Atractylodes,Cinnamom and Licorice Decoction
Objective To explore overall effect of modified poria, bighead atractylodes, cinnamom and licorice decoction on obese type 2 diabetes patients. Methods The paper chose 70 patients with obese type 2 diabetes in diabetes endocrinology clinic of Miyun Hospital District,Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Affiliated the Third Hospital from September 2020 to September 2023,and divided them into experimental group(35 cases),treated with modified poria, bighead atractylodes, cinnamom and licorice decoction+metformin drug, and reference group(35 cases)with metformin single drug randomly.Difference of overall clinical effect between two groups was compared. Results Overall effective rate of experimental group was significantly higher than reference group, with P<0.05.There was no significant difference in fasting blood glucose,2-hour postprandial blood glucose, and glycated hemoglobin between two groups before treatment, with P>0.05.After treatment, above indicators in experimental group were significantly lower than reference group, with P<0.05.There was no significant difference in body mass index and waist to hip ratio between two groups before treatment, with P>0.05.After treatment, above two indicators in experimental group were significantly lower than control group, with P<0.05.Conclusion Modified poria, bighead atractylodes, cinnamom and licorice decoction can achieve significant effect for obese type 2 diabetes patients, with key role in controlling blood sugar level, body mass index and waist hip ratio of patients.
