Clinical Effect Observation of Combining Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Treatment of Alzheimer's Disease Related Dementia
Objective To explore clinical effect of traditional Chinese combined with western medicine in treatment of Alzheimer's disease related dementia.Methods The paper chose 72 patients with Alzheimer's disease dementia in our hospital as study subjects,and divided them into control group(36 cases,treated with donepezil tablets)and observation group(36 cases,with compound cistanche alpinia oxyphylla capsules combined with acupuncture)with random number table method.Curative effect was analyzed and compared between two groups.Results After treatment with combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine,observation group had better scores on related scales,AD7c-NTP content,and incidence of adverse reactions than control group,with significant difference between the groups(P<0.05).Conclusion Combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine can effectively improve cognitive function,daily living ability,mental behavior,reduce urine AD7c-NTP content,promote neurotransmitter secretion,improve life quality and reduce adverse reactions incidence of Alzheimer's disease related dementia.
