Curative Effect and Safety Analysis of Vertebral Body Shaping Surgery for Osteoporotic Spinal Fractures
Objective To analyze curative effect and safety of vertebral body shaping surgery for patients with osteoporotic spinal fractures. Methods The paper chose 60 patients with spinal fractures caused by osteoporosis in the Seventh Medical Center of PLA General Hospital, and divided them into control group and observation group according to different treatment plans, with 30 cases in each group. The former was treated with conservative treatment, while the latter with vertebroplasty. Two different treatment plans were compared. Results Comparison of pain, clinical indicators, and effect between two groups found, observation group had better scores in various indicators than control group, with difference in comparison.Complications in observation group was lower, with significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Vertebroplasty can improve Cobb's angle of patients effectively, increase curative effect and safety, relieve pain and ensure life quality of patients.
