Effect and Safety Study of Montmorillonite Combined with Esomeprazole in Treatment of Acute Non Variceal Upper Gastrointestinal Bleeding with Medium and High Risk
Objective To explore effect and safety of montmorillonite combined with esomeprazole in treatment of patients with acute non variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding with medium to high risk. Methods The paper chose 65 patients with acute non variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding in our hospital from June 2021 to January 2023 as study subjects, and divided them into two groups randomly according to different treatment methods, control group(PPI group)was treated with esomeprazole, and experimental group(montmorillonite group)with montmorillonite combined with esomeprazole.24-hour,48h,and 72h hemostasis rates were compared, clinical indicators were compared, incidence of complications were analyzed between groups. Results 24-hour hemostasis rate, blood pressure stability time index, and incidence of complications in experimental group were better than control group, with significant statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion Montmorillonite combined with esomeprazole can improve success rate of short-term hemostasis of patients with acute non variceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding with medium and high risks, which has high safety and is worthy of application.
