Objective To explore the clinical value of combined with conventional TCM care in patients with lower limb spasm on maintenance hemodialysis. Methods 80 patients with lower limb spasm on maintenance hemodialysis treated from August 2020 to July 2023 were selected, and the patients were divided into observation group and reference group according to drawing lots, with 40 patients in each group.Among them, the reference group used the routine nursing plan, and the observation group added the combined nursing method of ear point pressure beans on the basis of the above nursing to compare the clinical effect of the two groups of patients. Results Patients in the observation group were significantly more effective than the reference group(P<0.05);after nursing, the WHOQOL-BREF score and SF-36 score of patients in the observation group were significantly better than the reference group(P<0.05);after nursing, the negative mood of patients in the observation group was also significantly lower than that in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of ear acupressure combined with conventional Chinese medicine care is more effective in alleviating the frequency of lower limb cramps in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. This approach gradually improves the patients'quality of life and reduces their negative emotions, resulting in more significant clinical outcomes.
