Clinical Effect Analysis of Early Skull Repair Surgery for Postoperative Skull Defects of Patients with Traumatic Brain Injury
Objective To explore and analyze the effect of early skull repair surgery on patients with skull defects after traumatic brain injury surgery. Methods The paper chose 54 patients with postoperative skull defects after traumatic brain injury in our hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 for study, and divided them into two groups according to the two-color ball method. The reference group (27 cases) was treated with advanced skull repair surgery, while the study group (27 cases) with early skull repair surgery. Curative effect was observed between two groups. Results The cerebral artery blood flow velocity in the study group was higher than the reference group 2 weeks after surgery, the neurological deficit scores were lower than the reference group, the self-care ability scores was higher than the reference group, and the Glasgow prognosis scores were higher than the reference group, all of which were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Early skull repair surgery can achieve ideal effect for postoperative skull defects of patients with traumatic brain injury, which has promotional value.
