Curative Effect Comparison of Total Hip Replacement and Artificial Femoral Head Replacement in Treatment of Elderly Femoral Neck Fractures
Objective To compare the actual effect of artificial femoral head replacement (AFHR) and total hip replacement for elderly patients with femoral neck fractures (FNF). Methods The paper chose elderly patients with FNF as research subjects,with a total samples of 80,included from January 2021 to March 2023,who were equally divided into the control group (treated with AFHR) and the intervention group (with total hip replacement surgery) with computer blind selection method,with an average of 40 cases in each group. The overall effect,surgical related indicators,joint function recovery,incidence of complications,and other factors were analyzed between the groups. Results The total curative effect of the intervention group (95.00％) was higher than the reference group (80.00％),P<0.05. There was no comparability in hospitalization costs and length of stay between two groups,P>0.05. The postoperative drainage volume and intraoperative bleeding volume of the intervention group was higher than the reference group,and the surgical time was longer,P<0.05. There was no comparability in preoperative scores between two groups,P>0.05. The postoperative HHS hip joint scores of the intervention group were higher than the reference group,P<0.05. Incidence of complications in the intervention group (5.00％) was relatively lower than the reference group (22.50％),P<0.05. Conclusion Total hip replacement surgery can achieve higher advantages than AFHR for elderly NFN patients. The former has shorter hospitalization and surgical time,less postoperative drainage and intraoperative bleeding,and lower cost. Total hip replacement surgery can enhance the overall clinical effect,improve hip joint function,reduce incidence of complications,with significant long-term effect,which is worthy of promotion and application.
