Expression and Significance of Hepatocyte Growth Factor and Its Receptor C-Met in Colorectal Cancer
Objective To investigate the expression and significance of hepatocyte growth factor and its receptor c-Met in colorectal cancer. Methods The paper reviewed and chose 126 patients with colorectal cancer in Mudanjiang Medical University the Second Affiliated Hospital from February 2020 to February 2022 as the case group, and 40 cases with surrounding normal colon tissue and benign adenomas as the reference group. The expression of microlymphatic density (LMVD),HGF,and its receptor c-Met positive in colorectal tissues of two groups, and the expression of LMVD,hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) and its receptor cellular-mesenchymal epithelial transition factor (c-Met) of patients with different clinical indicators of colorectal cancer tissues in the case group was analyzed statistically. Results The expression of LMVD in colorectal tissue of patients in the case group was higher than the control group (P<0.05). The LMVD in colorectal cancer tissues of patients with pathological stage Ⅰ+Ⅱ and lymph node metastasis was lower than those of pathological stage Ⅲ+Ⅳ and without lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). The LMVD in colorectal cancer tissues of HGF positive and c-Met positive patients was higher than HGF negative and c-Met negative patients (P<0.05). The positive expression rates of HGF and its receptor c-Met in colorectal tissues of the case group were higher than the reference group (P<0.05). The positive expression rates of HGF and its receptor c-Met in the colorectal cancer tissues with pathological stage I+Ⅱ of the case group were higher than those of stage Ⅲ+Ⅳ,(P<0.05). The positive expression rates of HGF and its receptor c-Met in colorectal cancer tissues of patients with lymph node metastasis were lower than those without lymph node metastasis (P<0.05). Conclusion The increase of positive expression of hepatocyte growth factor and its receptor c-Met in colorectal cancer, and increase of positive rate of lymph node metastasis may become a new curative target, and the higher the pathological stage, the higher the positive rate.
