Objective To observe curative effect of erxian herb decoction on patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis accompanied by hypothyroidism. Methods The paper chose 62 patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis and hypothyroidism in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022,and randomly divided them into two groups with random number table method,the control group (n=31,treated with levothyroxine sodium tablets) and the treatment group (n=31,with levothyroxine sodium tablets and erxian herb decoction). The thyroid antibodies,thyroid function,blood lipid indicators,and clinical symptom scores were compared between two groups before and after treatment,and clinical effect between two groups after treatment was statistically analyzed. Results Before treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in thyroid antibody,thyroid function,blood lipid indicators,and clinical symptom scores between the groups,with P>0.05. After treatment,all indicators of the treatment group were better than the control group,with statistical significance,P<0.05. Clinical effect of the treatment group was higher than the control group after treatment,with statistical significance,P<0.05. Conclusion Erxian herb decoction can improve thyroid function and blood lipid levels,regulate clinical symptoms,and promote clinical effect of patients with Hashimoto's thyroiditis accompanied by hypothyroidism,which is worthy of application.
