Objective To analyze effect of humanities teaching in teaching of nursing students in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Methods The paper chose 80 nursing students in oral and maxillofacial surgery as research subjects, and obtained their consent, confirmed their eligibility for participation in experiment. At the same time,80 nursing students were randomly divided into two groups, namely the control group and the observation group, treated with routine teaching and humanities teaching modes respectively. Application effect of different teaching modes was compared. Results According to statistical analysis of the study, theoretical and practical operation assessment scores of the observation group of nursing students were (92.8±4.7) points and (95.2±5.1) points respectively, while those of the control group were (84.3±4.4) points and (90.3±4.5) points respectively. The assessment scores of the observation group of nursing students were significantly higher than the control group,(P<0.05). Secondly, satisfaction degree between two groups of nursing students was evaluated and compared from three aspects of teaching atmosphere, teaching content and teaching skills, satisfaction degree of nursing students in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Humanistic teaching can improve assessment scores and enhance teaching satisfaction degree in teaching of nursing students in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
