Objective To study and analyze the effect of information knowledge belief behavior nursing intervention (IKAP) strategy on negative emotions and complications of breast cancer patients with PICC catheterization. Methods The paper chose 62 cases of breast cancer patients with PICC catheterization in our hospital from January 2022 to April 2023,and divided them into the observation group (n=31,treated with IKAP nursing strategy) and the control group (n=31,with routine nursing) randomly. Nursing effect was compared and analyzed between two groups. Results After intervention, the SAS scores,SDS scores, and total incidence of complications in the observation group were significantly lower than the control group (P<0.05). The overall satisfaction degree with nursing in the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion IKAP nursing strategy can reduce the negative emotions, lower incidence of complications, and improve satisfaction degree of breast cancer patients with PICC catheterization with nursing services.
