Effect Observation of Phototherapy Box Based on Protective Function for Neonatal Jaundice Nursing
Objective To explore application effect of phototherapy box based on protective function for neonatal nursing. Methods The paper chose 60 full-term neonates with jaundice in our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 as research subjects, and divided them into the control group (n=30) and the observation group (n=30) according to the informed consent of their families. The control group was treated with phototherapy with a routine phototherapy device, while the observation group with phototherapy with phototherapy box based on protective function. Both groups was treated with the same nursing methods. Changes in transcutaneous bilirubin levels were compared between two groups before treatment,4 hours after treatment, and 24 hours after treatment. Results There was no statistically significant difference in jaundice resolution time, phototherapy time, and bilirubin (serum bilirubin and transcutaneous bilirubin) levels between two groups (P>005). But the improvement of serum total bilirubin and transcutaneous bilirubin in the observation group was significantly better than the control group,(P<0.01). After the phototherapy, total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than the control group, but the comparison was not statistically significant (P>0.05). Conclusion The phototherapy box based on protective function can reduce the transcutaneous bilirubin level of neonatal jaundice during neonatal nursing effectively, without adverse nursing events, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
