Observation of Characteristics of Brain Morphological Changes in CT Images of First-episode Schizophrenia
Objective To observe and analyze the characteristics of brain morphological changes in CT images of first-episode schizophrenia patients. Methods The start and end time points of the study were March 2021 and June 2022 respectively.During the period, the paper chose 100 patients with first-episode schizophrenia and 100 healthy individuals with physical examination as research subjects, included in the experimental group and the control group respectively. Both groups of study subjects were treated with brain CT scans, and lateral ventricles, indicators of brain atrophy, sulcus enlargement and fissure widening, difference in brain regions, and CT values of the left frontal lobe were compared between two groups. Results There was significant difference in indicators of lateral ventricle and brain atrophy, widening of sulci and fissures, changes in the third ventricle, difference in brain regions, and CT values of the left frontal lobe between two groups,(P<0.05).Conclusion Brain morphological changes characterized of first-episode schizophrenia patients in CT images is brain atrophy, decrease of brain volume, and enlarged ventricles.CT values of the left frontal lobe of the brain of first-episode schizophrenia patients decrease.
