Effect Analysis of Thymalfasin Combined with Antibiotics in Treatment of Elderly Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease with Acute Exacerbation
Objective To analyze and study the effect of thymalfasin combined with antibiotics in treatment of elderly patients of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation.Methods The paper chose 176 elderly patients of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation from April 2022 to March 2023,and divided them into two groups randomly,the routine treatment group and combination treatment group,with 88 cases in each group.The routine treatment group was treated with routine antibiotics,while the combination treatment group with thymalfasin.Curative effect was analyzed.Results Total effective rate of the combination treatment group was higher than the routine treatment group,there was significant difference in data (P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in symptom scores and lung function indicators between two groups (P>0.05).After treatment,the symptom scores of the combination group were lower than the routine treatment group,and the FEV1 and FEV1％ indicators were higher than the routine treatment group,with difference in data (P<0.05).Conclusion Thymalfasin combined with antibiotics can achieve significant effect for elderly patients of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with acute exacerbation,can further improve clinical symptoms and enhance lung function,which is worthy of promotion in clinical practice.
