Clinical Research on TCM Ancient Prescriptions for Chronic Cough of Children
Objective To observe the effect of TCM ancient prescriptions in diagnosis and treatment of chronic cough of children.Methods The paper included 30 children with cough met clinical observation criteria,and divided them into the observation group and the control group based on random allocation,with 15 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine cough treatment,while the observation group with TCM ancient prescriptions.Treatment course for both groups was 14 days,and total effective rate of both groups reached 100％.Statistical analysis showed,difference between two groups did not reach significant level (P>0.05).Results showed,both routine methods and TCM ancient prescriptions can achieve good performance for chronic cough of children,with comparable effect,which is worthy of promotion.
