Effect of KAP Mode Health Education on Health Cognition and Compliance Behavior of Patients with Uterine Fibroids
Objective To explore the effect of KAP mode health education on health cognition and compliance behavior of patients with uterine fibroids.Methods The paper chose 98 patients with uterine fibroids in our hospital from October 2020 to October 2022,and divided them into the control group and the experimental group according to the double color ball method,with 49 cases in each group.The control group was treated with traditional routine nursing intervention,while the experimental group with KAP mode health education intervention.Levels of health cognition,self efficacy,life quality,adherence to medical treatment,and nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups before and after intervention.Results After intervention,the health awareness level of the experimental group was higher than the control group (P<0.05).The self effecay and life quality of the experimental group was higher than the control group (P<0.05).The compliance behavior of the experimental group was higher than the control group (P<0.05).Nursing satisfaction degree of the experimental group was higher than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion KAP mode health education can strengthen health knowledge,enhance self efficacy,improve life quality,and increase compliance and satisfaction degree with medical treatment to patients with uterine fibroids.
