Effect of Laparoscopic Treatment for Trauma Degree and Length of Stay of Acute Appendicitis Patients with Postoperative Intestinal Obstruction
Objective To explore the effect of laparoscopic treatment on trauma degree and length of stay of acute appendicitis patients with postoperative intestinal obstruction. Methods The paper reviewed and analyzed clinical data of 80 acute appendicitis patients with postoperative intestinal obstruction, and divided them into the laparoscopic group (n=40) and the laparotomy group (n=40) according to surgical methods. Trauma stress indicators[cortisol (Cor),norepinephrine (NE),adrenaline (E)],perioperative indicators, and postoperative complications were compared between two groups before and after surgery. Results The serum Cor,NE,and E levels in the laparoscopic group were lower than the laparotomy group on day 1 and 3 after surgery,(P<0.05). Perioperative indicators of the laparoscopic group were better than the laparotomy group (P<0.05). Overall incidence of postoperative complications in the laparoscopic group was lower than the laparotomy group (P<0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery can reduce physical trauma degree, shorten lenth of stay, and lower incidence of postoperative complications of acute appendicitis patients with postoperative intestinal obstruction.
