Influencing Factors Analysis of Burden Level of Primary Caregivers for Patients with Brain Glioma Surgery and Health Education Countermeasures
Objective To explore and analyzed influencing factors of burden level of primary caregivers for patients with brain glioma surgery, and propose health education strategies based on clinical practice experience. Methods The paper chose 98 patients with glioma surgery in our hospital from May 2020 to June 2023,with 98 primary caregivers, evaluated burden rating levels of caregivers with the caregiver burden scale, carried out univariate analysis and multiple logistic regression analysis of different influencing factors of burden level of primary caregivers for glioma surgery patients. Results Univariate analysis of burden level of primary caregivers showed, there was no statistically significant difference in CBI scores of factors including gender, disease type, education level, place of residence and employment status (P>0.05). There was statistically significant difference in CBI scores of factors including age, average monthly household income, caregiver status, caregiver anxiety, and level of social support,(P<0.05). Multivariate logistic analysis showed, age ≥40,average monthly household income<4000 yuan, caregiver status of other relatives, anxiety of caregivers, and low social support were independent risk factors for burden level of primary caregivers for glioma surgery patients, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion It is necessary to pay attention to caregivers with older age, lower monthly household income, other relatives of caregivers, anxiety, lower social support level. Corresponding health education should be carried out based on different factors to alleviate burden of caregivers, which is worthy of further and deep research.
