Nursing Intervention Value Research of Blue Light Irradiation in the Daytime Ward for Neonatal Jaundice Treatment
Objective To explore nursing intervention value of blue light irradiation in the daytime ward in treatment of neonatal jaundice. Methods The paper chose 68 neonatal jaundice patients from May 2022 to May 2023 in our hospital as research subjects, and divided them into the study group (34 neonatal jaundice patients) and the control group (34 neonatal jaundice patients) randomly. 10 cases of neonatal jaundice patients in the control group were treated with routine nursing methods, while 10 cases of neonatal jaundice patients in the study group with blue light irradiation in the daytime ward therapy combined with comprehensive nursing. Weight gain, bilirubin decrease, incidence of adverse reactions, and family satisfaction degree was compared between two groups. Results Weight gain and bilirubin reduction of 10 neonatal jaundice patients in the study group was significantly better than the control group, difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Incidence of adverse reactions of 10 neonatal jaundice patients in the study group was significantly lower than the control group, difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Family satisfaction degree of 10 neonatal jaundice patients in the study group was significantly higher than 10 neonatal jaundice patients in the control group, difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Combination of blue light irradiation in daytime ward and comprehensive nursing can effectively improve weight gain and bilirubin reduction, reduce incidence of adverse reactions of neonatal jaundice patients, which is worthy of wide application.
