Analysis on the Feasibility of Introduction of Commercial Insurance to Military Equipment Risk Management
The paper studies on the risk management in the use of military equipment.On the basis of expounding the connotation, this paper discusses the feasibility of the introduction of commercial insurance from four aspects which include insurability of military equipment use, institutional environment of national and military policy, social insurance resources and practical experiences home and abroad.Then, based on the status quo of PLA's equipment management, the paper proposes some suggestions including accelerating the building of systems, establishing the cooperative management mode of "government guides, military manages and market operates" and introducing the commercial insurance from transportation equipment and gradually expanding.
