Construction of Sea & Space Battlefield Versatile Situation Picture
Sea & Space Battlefield Versatile Situation Picture is an application subsystem at the end of the naval combat command information system,and the constructing process of this picture is one of the specific contents developed by the government in cultivating reconnaissance and intelligence forces in facilitating military-civilian integration and system integration strategy.To solve the problem of lack of direct and real-time visualized sea & space comprehensive situation information support in offshore actions for Chinese naval fleet,a study is made on the construction of the Sea & Space Battlefield Versatile Situation Picture.Based on the current progress and challenges during the construction of the picture,with charts and texts,the paper discusses the basic contents,the implementation process and the main functions that should be realized.Finally,the paper gives some suggestions on the applications of this picture in some military operations other than war (MOOTW),such as in the generation of offshore operations comprehensive situation,command and decision-making,combat operations,as well as in offshore drilling,fishery escorting,and national key economic strategy deployment,etc.
