There exists an inconsistency in the concept, assessment indexes and assessment methods of the current weaponry system contribute rate.Against this, starting with the concept of system contribute rate, the paper illustrates the understanding of the system contribution rate assessment, and puts forward the establishment principles of the assessment index system of weaponry contribution rate, including comprehensiveness, objectivity and feasibility, sensitivity, independence, quantitative priority and simplicity.According to these principles, a multi-level assessment index system is established from the four perspectives of the functional adaptability, the structural optimization, the combat capacity promotion, and technical progress.Finally, effective suggestions are made from the aspects like assessment index establishment, assessment method application, assessment index selection and assessment index calculation.
