With the rapid development of information technology and artificial intelligence,portable three-dimensional(3D)wound assessment tools may become the most promising wound assessment method.This article reviews portable 3D wound assessment tools with different measurement principles,summarizes the technical principles,evaluation methods,and clinical application status of these assessment tools,analyzes the advantages and limitations of different assessment tools,providing reference for the clinical application and promotion of portable 3D wound assessment tools in the future.However,research on such tools in China is still in its early stage,and further evidence-based accumulation is needed.At the same time,functional optimization is needed to improve the measurement accuracy of special wounds.
