This article summarized the emergency care experience for a patient with penetrating neck injury,involving carotid artery damage and spinal cord injury.Faced with significant blood loss and airway compression due to hematoma from the neck injury,a multidisciplinary team approach was adopted for collaborative treatment.Carotid artery compression for hemostasis,airway management for combined spinal cord injury,hemodynamic stabilization,and prevention of hypoperfusion-related cerebral infarction were implemented.Following emergency treatment and nursing care,the patient's condition stabilized and underwent emergency surgery.The patient was successfully discharged 14 days postoperatively.
