To summarize the nursing care of a patient with acute respiratory distress syndrome who received extracorporeal carbon dioxide removal.Nursing points:nursing during prone position ventilation,dynamic adjustment of lung protective ventilation strategy,coordination and management of nitric oxide therapy,balancing the risk of bleeding and thrombosis,goal-oriented sedation and analgesia,and progressive early rehabilitation exercise.The patient went offline successfully on the 110th day and was transferred to a rehabilitation hospital for further treatment on the 120th day.
