摘要
在当代口腔正畸领域,随着成年患者比例的持续增长,传统正畸治疗方法面临新的挑战和需求.这其中,缩短治疗周期和最小化治疗过程中的并发症已成为重要的研究和实践方向.众多尝试加速牙齿移动的技术中,牙周辅助加速成骨正畸(Periodontally accelerated osteogenic orthodontics,PAOO)表现出明显的优势.PAOO不仅在缩短治疗周期方面取得显著成效,而且通过促进牙槽骨增生,有助于牙周组织的长期健康.该技术理论基础主要基于区域加速现象(Regional acceleratory phenomenon,RAP)的骨愈合模式.本文深入探讨了PAOO的手术起源及其技术的历史发展.通过阐述PAOO的研究进展,本文不仅为正畸医师提供了一个全面的改良技术概览,而且为未来的研究和临床实践指出了方向.此外,文章还讨论了PAOO在临床应用中的效果评估、潜在的风险和挑战.通过对PAOO技术的进一步了解,正畸医师可以更好地为成人患者提供高效、安全的治疗方案.
Abstract
In the contemporary field of orthodontics,with the continuous growth of the proportion of adult patients,traditional orthodontic treatment methods are facing new challenges and demands.Among these challenges,the reduction of treatment duration and minimization of complications during treatment have emerged as critical research and practice directions.Among various techniques attempted to expedite tooth movement,Periodontally Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics(PAOO)has demonstrated significant advantages.PAOO not only achieves remarkable success in shortening the treatment period but also contributes to the long-term health of periodontal tissues by promoting alveolar bone regeneration.The theoretical foundation of this technique is primarily based on the bone healing patterns associated with the Regional Acceleratory Phenomenon(RAP).In this paper,the origin of PAOO surgery and its historical development are discussed.By elucidating the research advancements in PAOO,this paper provides orthodontists with a comprehensive overview of this improved technique and indicates future directions for research and clinical practice.In addition,the effectiveness evaluation,potential risks and challenges of PAOO in clinical applications are also discussed.With a deeper understanding of PAOO technology,orthodontists can better provide efficient and safe treatment options for adult patients.
