Agriculture is the foundation of a country,and effective and reasonable agricultural policies can promote the development of agriculture and the increase of farmers'income.Agricultural subsidy is the most basic and important means for a country to support the development and protection of its agriculture.Agricultural subsidies are divided into subsidies in a narrow sense and subsidies in a broad sense.Agricultural subsidies in a narrow sense are protective subsidies provided by the state to food and other agricultural products.In a broad sense,agricultural subsidy means that the state provides all-round protection and support to the agricultural industry,such as agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery.This paper discusses what types of agricultural subsidy policy are adopted in our country,what characteristics of our subsidy policy are,what shortcomings and what countermeasures are adopted for these deficiencies,and how to improve with the development of the times.
