This article conducts a random questionnaire survey and interviews with farmers from 15 villages of 7 districts in Guangzhou,exploring new situations,problems,and challenges faced by the new growth of farmers'income in Guangzhou.Discovering that farmers in Guangzhou are facing a new situation of slowing growth,from the perspective of expanding opening-up,industrial integration,and aging in the context of new normal economy,the construction of the Greater Bay Area,rural revitalization,and changes in population structure.The policy suggestion is to further tap into the new potential and driving force for increasing farmers'income in Guangzhou by stimulating the potential for increasing income and enriching the people within agriculture and rural areas,promoting higher quality and full employment of rural labor,optimizing farmers'property income,and steadily improving the institutional environment.
