Eriocheir Sinensis(also known as Chinese Mitten Crab)is widely accepted as remarkable economic aquatic products of Jiangsu for a long time,while the over dependence of human resources during its breeding process is proved as the most significant limiting factor of Eriocheir Sinensis industry development predictably,under the situation of population aging issue.Domestic demands of intelligent breeding alternative equipment are in great need while the investigation report on rising UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)technology application in related area is in short supply.Therefore,investigation of UAV technology application in Eriocheir Sinensis breeding has been carried out within Jiangsu province from July to September 2023 by JIT-NJAU aquaculture equipment group,in order to provide primary data for UAV industries.Strong confidence in using UAV technology for feeding is reported among most Eriocheir Sinensis farmers and cooperatives,while the biggest concern about using UAV technology is the cost of purchase and maintenance,as well as the shortage of professional talents.Finally,based on investigation results,this report provides suggestions from the perspectives of UAV business pattern,orientation of technical innovation and reserve of talents,in order to promote the application of UAV technology to intelligent breeding and aquaculture equipment.
