Photoperiod flowering in rice is a complex regulatory process in which multiple genes participate in coordination.Rice realizes the transformation from vegetative growth to reproductive growth through the regulation mechanism dominated by different genes under long-day and short-day conditions.Hd3a and RFT1 genes are widely studied floral genes at present. The effects and characteristics of genes related to Hd3a/RFT1 gene regulation under long and short sunlight conditions were discussed, and four basic flowering gene regulation pathways were summarized to provide reference for further study of rice flowering regulation in the future.
