As an excellent historical and cultural heritage,traditional villages are an important resource and starting point to promote the strategy of rural revitalization.China's rapid urbanization process has led to the gradual hollowing out of traditional villages and cultural fragmentation,and the development of villages lacks motivation from the root.The new endogenous development theory provides new ideas for the development of traditional villages.So,how should traditional villages develop under the new endogenous concept,and how to evaluate the development level of traditional villages from the perspective of new endogenous development?Therefore,this paper interprets the current development predicament and current situation of traditional villages from the perspective of new endogenous development,analyzes the new endogenous development core of traditional villages,and dissects the three new endogenous units of traditional villages.From the endogenous,exogenous and new endogenous units,this paper puts forward a comprehensive evaluation index system of traditional villages from the perspective of new endogenous development,in order to provide a measurement basis for the protection and development of traditional villages.
