Ancient folk houses and traditional villages are one of the important material heritages of Chinese civilization,which have a long history and diverse cultures,and play an important role in the whole history of human civilization.In the context of rural revitalization,through the methods of literature arrangement,current situation investigation and case analysis,this paper sums up the current problems existing in the activation of idle dwellings in Chinese traditional villages at the present stage,and takes Wubu Village in Taian City as an example.This paper puts forward some activation and application countermeasures,such as"light intervention"transformation,inheritance of local characteristic culture,reconstruction of cultural square,"embedded"pension base and so on,in order to further enrich the method research on the activation of idle dwellings in traditional villages,and provide theoretical support for the transformation,application and related research of idle dwellings in traditional villages.
